Getting to Green

  • Preconstruction Goal Setting - We guide the charrette process where the owner and other stakeholders set sustainability goals with design professionals and determine what level of LEED makes sense to pursue.
  • LEED Strategy – We help identify the most effective strategy to gain LEED points.
  • Comparable Analysis – Our process of comparison makes it easy to size up the costs of a green building feature vs. non-green one, and the future estimated “return on green.”
  • New Construction Checklist – Tool identifies strategies and tracks costs.
  • Standard Green Procedure – Al. Neyer Design-Build clients benefit from our green “default,” where we incorporate energy efficient and environmentally friendly specifications that are cost neutral or negligible, such as sourcing products from within 500 miles or using low VOC paint.
  • Future LEED Rating – With client approval, Al. Neyer will design a building so that it can be LEED certified at a later date.
  • Tax Incentive Guidance – Many municipalities offer breaks for green building and renovation.

The next phase of the green development and construction is under way on the corporate office and clinical research campus of Medpace, Inc.
