SHP Leading Design is an architecture firm known for its work on schools and corporate spaces. In 2008, the firm became its own client as it designed a new Southwest Ohio headquarters to reflect its commitment to sustainable design practices. SHP consolidated Cincinnati-area operations at Linden Pointe on the Lateral corporate office campus, a former vacant brownfield site redeveloped by Al. Neyer in 2007. Al. Neyer’s Design-Build Group won the contract to finish the interior space to tenant specification. Numerous green features were incorporated into the space to help it achieve LEED Commercial Interiors Gold Rating, including:

• Sensors that automatically adjust artificial light to amount of available daylight
• Recycling of construction materials
• Use of renewable materials, such as cork flooring
• Use of products with pre- and post-consumer recycled content throughout the office
